Alfred Tennyson letters, 1856-1888.

The collection consists of four letters: to My dear sir, 2 Sept. 1856, contrasting the rainy weather he has encountered in Wales with the sun the recipient is experiencing in the south of England; letter to Sir, 9 Aug. 1878, thanking him for sending his sermon, which in part compared the Sangreal (Holy Grail) with the Buddhist almsbowl; to My dear Miss Swanwick, 7 June 1886, thanking her for the books she sent and the sympathy she expressed for the recent death of his son; note, 25 Feb., 1888, in third person, defining the San Grail and thanking Mr. Moon (?) for his letter.
